Chris Fahnestock has a proven track record of innovation in executive succession planning, executive coaching, and sophisticated management assessment. Her expertise includes developing programs that close talent gaps in groups as well as with individual leaders. She has managed the succession planning activities for Fortune 500 companies, including CEO transitions. Her work is grounded in clients’ strategic issues, objectives and culture to achieve optimum success.

Chris is dedicated to improving leadership competencies. Her methodology includes on-the-job experiments and practices, the accelerated transition of new executives, and developmental assignments. She has facilitated successful talent identification, succession, development and selection processes in a wide variety of settings, including corporate, non-profit, educational, and entrepreneurial.

Chris spent 15 years leading the Management Development Department at Northeast Utilities, a department she created in response to a need expressed by the CT DPUC. For the last three years of her tenure at NU, she led the succession planning effort at Millstone: a fitting prelude to beginning her own entrepreneurial venture. Chris is the Principal of Fahnestock & Associates and holds a BS degree in Education from Shippensburg University and an MS in Organizational Behavior from the University of Hartford.
