Andrea Barton Reeves is Vice President of Administration at HARC, an agency that supports people with intellectual disability. She is responsible for all intra-departmental agency functions, including strategic planning, compliance and audit, human resources, forecasting and resource allocation. Prior to joining HARC, Andrea spent six years in her own law firm, representing children in child protection, delinquency and high-conflict custody matters. She also served as Program Director for Lawyers for Children America, where she trained attorneys throughout Connecticut to advocate on behalf of children in child protection matters.

Andrea serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Bar Foundation, the Connecticut Community Providers Association and is the Board Chair for the Village for Families and Children. She was named one of Hartford Business Journal’s “40 under Forty”, and participated in Leadership Greater Hartford’s 2007 “Quest” Class. She was recognized for her commitment to child advocacy in 2009 when she was received the Family Champion Award from the Connecticut Council Family Service Agencies.
