LinkHer provides career direction, exposure and mentorship to female students that enable them to achieve their full potential. Through the LinkHer program, female students connect with professionals (Links) and businesses that offer career exposure activities including, but not limited to, career conversations, job shadowing and company tours that provide insight into their desired career field(s).
LinkHer creates a sustainable pipeline of female students entering career fields that are traditionally predominantly male. By investing in LinkHer, companies encourage female students to pursue careers in their industry by providing access to a network of professionals and resources in their desired career field.
LinkHer also offers a structured six-month career mentoring option for female students interested in obtaining a dedicated career mentor. As part of each mentoring rotation, students work with a female professional (mentor) to achieve one or more career/educational goals. Students also complete LinkHer’s signature leadership training.
LinkHer is offered at no cost to female students and is made possible by professionals that volunteer as Links or Mentors and partners, including businesses and educational institutions.
