You Light Up Your Life!, presented by Kimi Rabun, is an upbeat stress management workshop designed to address re-focusing, re-energizing and re-committing to both professional and personal goals. Effective use of stress management techniques and providing motivation to excellence and efficiency. |

| About Kimi Rabun |

| For over 20 years Kimi (Ginn) Rabun has designed/presented diversity focused educational programs/services to thousands of youth, families, educators, community organizations/agencies and businesses. Through upbeat keynote addresses and workshops, she couples this passion with motivational and empowerment related work and life skill enhancements that assist both students and adults in reaching their fullest potential while promoting the message and practices of respecting diversity, both personally and professionally. |

| Kimi owns and operates a multicultural educational service consulting company called IMIK Enterprises and has received a variety of accolades for her outstanding work in the field of diversity (including cultural competency training, focus group facilitation, mediation/conflict resolution, teambuilding retreats, leadership conferences and school to work internships). She is a gifted storyteller who promotes the theme “Celebrating Our Differences”. She has developed an innovative diversity focused workshop series entitled S.P.I.R.I.T. © 2001 (Successful Practices for the Implementation of Respect, Integrity and Teamwork). She serves local corporations, educational institutions, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations by conducting corporate and school level diversity workshops designed to maintain hostile free work and learning environments and for their respective employee forces. In 2007, Kimi co-founded the Rites of Passage Program, an African American culturally based self empowerment, college readiness mentoring program for African American males. Additionally, Kimi assumed the leadership role as the Senior School Programs Officer with the College Success Foundation (CSF) and assisted in providing college readiness skills, mentors and scholarships to low income, high potential students throughout the state of Washington. She also managed CSF’s transition activities. |

| Her other major professional positions include serving as the Area Development Director for the northwest office of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and was responsible for raising the much needed dollars to provide scholarships for deserving yet financially disadvantaged students. Under her leadership, the 1998-99 Fundraising Campaign yielded 1.2 million dollars. She continues to provide linkages to Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s) through escorted student/staff tours and projects. In June 2006 she opened the Joe Jordan Ragtime Jazz 600+ item Historical Collection at Hampton University’s Peabody Scholar Library and currently is in production of a documentary regarding the origins of jazz music. |

| Her unique style of facilitating productive school/business/community collaboration and networking resulted in the development of the Seattle Coalition for Educational Equity (SCEE), a Seattle Community Colleges/Ford Foundation Partnership that deployed the strategies to endure city-wide partnerships to effect systemic change in the equitable delivery of K-16 educational services. For five years as the SCEE Director, Kimi managed/assessed the five (5) million dollar project. |

| In October 2010, Kimi joined the consulting team of Learning Dynamics and is currently conducting diversity and mentorship workshops. In May 2010, Kimi began consulting for The Center for the Advancement of Youth, Family & Community Services of Glastonbury, CT where she provides a variety of educational and cultural programs. |

| She is the proud grandmother of one and proud mother of two, now residing in Hartford, CT. Kimi is a community oriented person who serves unconditionally. She is committed to “Opening the Doors to Positive Diversity”.
