Sarah
Poriss was an associate attorney at Consumer Law Group in Rocky Hill for
four years concentrating on stopping debt collection harassment, forcing
credit bureaus to correct or delete inaccurate credit information and
assisting people recover from identity theft. She opened her own office
in October, 2006, and expanded her practice to include defending
consumers who are being sued by credit card companies and helping
homeowners who are in foreclosure. Her goal is to educate her clients
about the credit reporting system and help them prioritize and control
their debt. She is a member of the State Judicial Branch’s Bench- Bar
Foreclosure and Small Claims committees which work toward making the
courts more accessible and user-friendly. |
